For this production she designed the set, building upon the natural landscape of the playing area. In addition to this and in response to the mask requirements the overall concept was to include nods to various pandemics and epidemics in history. This concept was supported by Friar John's line "Going to find a barefoot brother out, One of our order, to associate me, Here in this city visiting the sick, And finding him, the searchers of the town, Suspecting that we both were in a house ere the infectious pestilence did reign, Sealed up the doors and would not let us forth. So that my speed to Mantua there was stayed." Essentially, Friar John was quarantined which held a connection to the current situation of the world at that time. The audience for this production were asked to bring their own seating arrangements and were seated in the audience areas that were pre-designated using ropes.
